Zeal are testing 360mm protype blades which is good news for all trex dominator and stretch minip helicopters.

I turned up for a looky at the Freestyle Flyers field today. Down the road and there's an open gate and a huge sign,,this way!!! Easy to find :)
I didn't bring the heli cos I was on the bike, but just wanted to drop in and see what I'd missed out on these past 10 years.
A big thanks to everyone for making me so welcome, Argy who let me come out on the flight line and spot, gave me a great overview of the club, and made me feel very welcome. Question? Belt Fitting
Almost finished the mechanical build, and am just at the stage of installing the motor. I can't for the life of me seem to get the belt to fit though, it's the correct belt for the stretch (2M-1150) but it's as though the belt is 20mm too short.

With the tail blocks mounted as far forward as possible and the motor as far aft as possible I still cannot get enough slack in the belt to get it over the main gear. Even if I could stretch it enough to fit it's going to be as tight as a drum skin.
