Upper Limit For Speed Flying?
I have seen the speed helicopters and other craft as well. I like speed helicopters because they fly so fast and so close to you as well. Its very exciting to stand next to someone with a speed helicopter.
What decides the fastest speed a helicopter can travel? i thought the upper limit might be stopped by the speed of sound. So the blade speed + the forward speed cannot be greater than 1200 klm per hour. Is that right?

So.. here's a little story about a castle 120 edge. It came into use with a lovely new trex 700 kit... nearly 18 months ago.. it was mounted up and was a good little ESC.. but summer was a bit to hot, and it's big brother a castle 160 edge with a fan came along to help out...
It sat on a shelf for a little bit, then was reborn into a goblin 570. Now since this was a smaller heli, he had a little nephew come and help.. his name was BEC. And he was always there taking power off the esc, but he didnt mind.. he loved his little bec buddy.. but the BEC wasnt just taking taking the power...

What Gyro?
I am pretty new to rc helicopters, about 8 months in. I can hold a hover and do figure 8s. I have a trex 550 and align 450. On the 550 i have a 3gx, just wondering what gyro should i buy next. I just want something that works well. Have some tail hold issues with the 3gx....

Nice looking forum and some really interesting and funny stuff on here. I am only beginning in helicopters but have always been fascinated by them. Seems you have some really good entertainment here with the gods!
With the Maiden flight on my new EVO completed successfully, i'm now selling my Rush 750 Legacy airframe.
Airframe is in great condition, and would suit any pilot looking to purchase a quality 700 sized bird at a good price.
Asking $450 plus shipping for the "bare" airframe.
I also have a KDE 495kv motor, a CC 160HV ESC, and a set of EDGE 713 SE main blades that I can sell with the airframe, if buyer is interested.
