Newbie Help Motor For Goblin 570 On 12s

    Ok... currently I am running a Quantum 4125-560 motor in my goblin 570. I upgraded it from a scorpion 4025-1100 6s motor. And while it has more power, I have never been hugely impressed by it... could be because its now a bit heavier, even tho I upped the head speed by 100-200 rpm when I put in the quantum, I just remember not being wowed by it....

    anyway, always looking at other alternatives... but to be honest I'll see what difference the blackline blades make, as they should be a bit stiffer..

    the two motors I am looking at are

    Not saying I am going to go out and buy one... but its on my mind.... other than those two what else would be a contender? not really interested in the pyro.. but I could be convinced...

    Thoughts?

      Mick, So in the end what did you feel was the outcome, good and bad for each motor?

      Hi mate the kde gets to hot 70c and it's not summer yet I think the heat will be bad for the belt as it heat sinks to the pinion and belt after a hard flight all so the kde I think has less torque I did not fly Manyc Heli
      But we all had the same view
      The Xnova ran cool may be 30c after
      A flight I'm going to buy a Xnova

      whats the price of each motor ?

      The Znovas certainly do look nice and bling…..mmmm maybe one for my 14S AleeS ???

      Well the KDE did not blow my socks off so its out with that and in with this

      Scorpion 4035 560kv the canopy will not fit but if it fly well I will cut a hole in it I will test it tomorrow

      had a test flight all is good so far I will get some more flights in tomorrow at AFF after work then I will cut the hole for the scorpion
