Hi Guys, there has been some discussion about the upcoming transmission system that is patent pending, see below a brief explanation of the meaning and benefits of this design. See CAD drawing below and the pictures taken at IRCHA.

    TDD means Torque Dampened Drive.

Its components consist of a special hub that houses two rubber dampers, one on each side of the hub. The dampers are held in place by a pin that is threaded on both sides which takes the place of the Jesus bolt in normal drive systems. The pin is held in place by two hex screws and a washer.

The system reduces the initial impact of torque that can occur with today's more responsive governors. powerful electric motors, and during aggressive collective and cyclic maneuvers--hard stops, etc. It is designed to decrease loading on the entire tail drive system and thus decrease wear and tear of the tail drive system.

Awesome can it be retrofitted to the existing Rush750?

Both the Evo and the existing Rush share common parts, i would expect that the TTD system would be able to integrated into the existing Rush frame. I guess you would to weigh up the cost factor in the interchange.

So it works like the rear wheel "cush drive" on a four stroke motorbike by the sound of it. Good idea.

Just hit the pre-order button for the EVO. I might have to sell a kidney to pay for it, but what the heck.

I love my original Rush, but I'm not sure if I can spend the money for all new electronic gear for the EVO. I'll have to think about this for a bit. I should be getting a bonus next year and hopefully a nice tax refund.

Canopies are the last leg in this journey. The 750's are still a couple of weeks away
