I use a bit of velco strap around the wires and then a zip tie pulled down over that, Velco strap stop the zip tie cutting into the wires.

    What do you do ?

My TSA kits come with little wire clamps that snap into the frames. They work really well, and will hold several wires without doing damage to them. Around the FBL controller and other electronics, I do the same as you mentioned with velcro, and small zip ties.

Do these wire clips keep the wires off the frames @Geena ? I imagine they would be ok because they are provided in the kit. One thing that I found out the hard way was how conductive the carbon frames are. It only takes a positive wire to touch the frame and the carbon will start to smoke, char and even potentially burn.

They don`t prevent them from touching the frames, but I dab a small amount of liquid electrical tape on the wires where the clamps are. No problems so far. :)

Thats an excellent idea! Liquid electrical tape. I have never heard of it before. Sound like good stuff.

I haven't used it before, but I have heard if people using a bead if it along the edge of their CF frames to prevent chafing of the wires. Jaycar has a similar product here in Oz.

Yep I use zip-ties and Velcro to protect the wires. But liquid elec tape would be a great idea, I have been using it for a while but not to hold down wires on my Heli. Great idea @Geena

Does anyone know of the same sort of stuff that @Geena is talking about in AUS? I think it would be handy to fix nicked wires etc..
