The bottom servo screws are bloody hard to get started and done up..... even using a ball hex driver!!

 

GAWD what a piece of engineering! Very nice... i am drooling!

 

Got the tail boom done and damn it's big..... You can see it compared to the KDS Agile 7.2 which has a bigger boom than normal.....

 

With so much metal, how does it feel weight wise? But its looking very nice.

 

Not sure yet as I haven't fitted it all to the frame yet.....

 

Looks good so far Ozzy, will be good to hear what you think about it.

I have my reasons for not having much faith in HD helicopters support, but I hope they do offer any support and parts that you may require into the future

I like the tail belt retainer. Such a simple idea that will prevent the belt from flying off the tail drive.

 

Cheers guys, i'm getting there slowly and now with Xmas its even slower.....

 

Got some time on the HD today, made up a small 1mm thick CF plate and fitted it to the Tail servo mount with some double sided tape and some ties for extra security... This is to mount the 2s 450mah Buffer pack...



Simply just plug the buffer pack into the plug thats double sided taped to the bottom of the servo....


Fitted a Mikdao battery ID sensor, it's actually a really good spot and works well..... Made daisey chaining the TelMe module a lot easier too
