With @Storm Heligod thowing down her wrath in this neck of the woods, who actually braved the elements to have a fly? I did, put through 10packs and felt better for it. The sky was grey however and REALLY dark. I still had a good time however!

I have a feeling it is not going to be so good tomorrow.....

      Melbourne area
Cloudy. Very high (95%) chance of showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon. Possible hail in the morning. Heavy falls exceeding 50 mm possible about the nearby hills. Winds southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h tending south to southwesterly 25 to 40 km/h early in the morning.

Yes, I agree with @3D Heligod. Fly...fly...fly. What does not kill your helicopters will only make them stronger.

I flew today, we had a busy bee at the field, I got the job of painting the toilets, while people where coming in and taking a piss, and the water mains had been shut off for maintenance.

      But I still flew.

Could not agree more @Storm Heligod . We may have had our differences in the past but on this point I fully support your way of thinking. FLY FLY FLY! FLY in the wind... keep pushing the limits.... if you dont know how to fly just DO IT anyway! what have you got to loose?

Nothing is more invigorating than to fly before an approaching thunderstorm (before the rain hits)! Thunder and lightning, crazy wind..... use a capable "beater heli" though, strange things can happen.

It's a blast..... except certain times of the year as I have mentioned before..... one could end up on the other side of the rainbow. (Wizard of Oz pun)
