Mini Quads seem to be all the rage... small nimble, can carry full FPV gear, and cheap to crash... since I have a disco pro and am scared of breaking it, since the main frames are very expensive.. I thought I would give one of these a shot...

electronics are in... just need to frame and camera now...

I use Cc3d and have just discovered Naze 32 ($25)at that price it performs just as well as cc3d...for my cameras surveilzone $30 Sony 600tvl, brilliant for fpv... You can do a build for a pretty reasonable price. Sunnysky motors are the go and blheli or simon k esc from whitespy quads are cheap at about 8$ each. If you are new to fpv in general hobbyking sell a very cheap frame which may be a good idea if you are going to crash alot the base is like $10 and you can buy the top cage for like $8.00 I have one on the way to test out.... Will report at a later stage

Nathan didn't care... I reckon you could land a 700 next to him.. and he would just hop a bit over...

I ordered a Blackout quad, after flying my cousins I needed to get one of my own. We can do some racing through the trees in a few weeks time.

At 8:01:40, you can see on the ground what I believe is my missing LIPO PACK. It was ejected out of my 550 approx 1 year ago!

      Nice one @Ben ,
I had three flights on mine today all going good , you should bring it down the club so you , @Manyc and myself can race each other.

Yeah I put 6 packs through the little guy today in the park.

As much fun as I'm having I need to get back out to the field to give the bigger heli's a run, though I'm sure we can put in a couple of sneaky races.

That's how we do it... probably out about 13-15 flights on the big helis and 2 on the quads...
