Paid my respect, left early so as not to make others uncomfortable, visited my wife, shared a tear, went back to work and had a couple of bourbons, got red faced like my BUDDY, and smiled for the rest of the day.

Today was a real show of the comradery this hobby has.

It was nice to see the goblin on the coffin today.
When we hold the solace next year in his honor may I suggest we invite the family ?

 

I liked the 570 on the lid as well, I thought it was a nice touch. Good idea about inviting the family too.

Its the thought that counts Tedman... Quite a few couldn't make it but it was still a big gathering.

 

I'm pleased to hear that the service was well attended. From my view that is thousands of miles away, he was a very good egg! I'll miss his input on these forums and I hope that there is a goblin for him to fly wherever he is.

Awesome.. Just to let you all know, Fred from hallam hobbies has purchased and donated Jason's goblin 630 to Heligods to be used at the fun fly each year for Jason ..
