    Folks - mine arrived today...
Needless to say - Wow, what a heli...

I can tell you this is the hottest 450 out there - but have a look for yourself...

Note: No manual thou - grrrrrr, would have liked a hardcopy manual for the price :(

Does anyone have a soft copy or link to a softcopy of the manual ? Is there even one ????

The gain is unusual - I had to go really low - 30 vs my normal 46 - on the tail..
Wag is gone mostly - but need to fly at the field to test properly as all i could do in the back yard was a hover..

Yep - will be interesting... a lot will depend on your choice of servos as well I suspect.

I'm using the Hobbyking 306 HV's and they are quick...

I have a wobble in my tail grips - feral and I both think it's the tail hub - i'll have to grab a new one, but for now it's still good enough to fly...

Here is my review of todays flights:
      =======================

Flew without too many issues... (5-6 flights, lost count...)

Flies nice, as expected... I had to turn the tail gain down even lower today..now great.
Running CY 450 tails and are more than adequate.

The cyclic gain is still an issue for me, in some speed maneuvers the cyclic wobbled a bit but seeing i'm down to 40% nothing I can do but live with it.. Have already moved the ball links in one on the arms..

There are certain RPM's where I receive a bit of a resonance buzz in the drive system but changing throttle curve a few percent fixes this for me.

      Overall - a nice flying 450...

PS: Gave feral a fly as he hated his align 450L and ditched it after 4-5 flights. He liked the chase thou much better........ even with the "Fu-Bar" - lol

Wait till you see how good mine flys on Spartan (aka a REAL GYRO) ;) @jockstrap

Its got my approval not that it counts for much but flying yours got me way keener for 1 it leaves the 450L for dead all round

vx1e is probably the best for this heli eh

changed the timing on my KDE motor today from 8deg to 15deg and flying better now.

Also realized I can actually go lower in cyclic gain by typing the value in manually on the PC software - so now at 38 on cyclic gain.

She is flying sweeeeeet now.. just the way I like em...

A little bit of a buzz on spoolup but goes away once rpm's increase an it's out of it's resonance zone..

The KDE is definitely making more power on 15* and running nice and cool

Good to hear she's running smoother @jockstrap, I'll defiantly have to learn more about motor timing etc for ESC set up..
Would of been a great day out there!!!

Mine is flying great on vx1e, the CoG is very noticeable during piro flips. So easy to keep it on the spot with minimal stick corrections.

@Christo - hmm maybe it's lucky you weren't there today - those flying ants were a nightmare all day... hundreds around you while flying...

@Pionwave - nice to hear someone else flying theirs too..

Yeah @jockstrap, still better than doing s#%t around the house! Here's a look at my modified Chase pinion..I've actually shifted its centre position so the main belt will run central on main drive. image.jpg
