Just wondering if there are certain industry types attracted to flying helicopters. IE do you find that IT people, Doctors or Engineers are attracted to flying helicopters?

NDE tech here which involves lots of ultrasonics, electronics, motion control, electrical, machining and mechanical build-up... kind of a jack of all trades. I like fast cars, motorcycles, guns, gaming, building computers, snowboarding and even dabbled with golf. Fell in love with RC cars as a kid, never had money for the hobby till I got older. Once I found helicopters it was all over! All other hobbies came to a grinding halt and I have had my head in the sky ever since :)

Started off in IT/Project Managing. Ended up working with real planes (Which has made me appreciate RC Helis a whole lot more).

Yes I think you are @ratso, and i would have thought mining surveying would be good for a fly at lunchtime? in lots of open area?

Owner operator. Mower shop. Sales, maintenance & repairs. So basically a mechanic, a fixer of sh!t.
I love bikes, I use to race superbikes here in Aus. play golf, cook, fly heli's & get pissed & say rude words from time to time.

Thats got to be a stressfull job... Where are you located? I have a mower here thats old but i want to fix up for sentimental value (I know its sounds strange) but its a briggs and straton red commercial mower which never let me down untill a few months ago. Now it starts fine but runs then stops, cycle repeats. Something in the carby... I would love to fix it...
