      Law 3 ....Never use strong loctight... is my favorite.... for obvious reasons.....

      Amen to that @MadBird. Buying that top brand 2nd hand gyro is not always the best move...

      Using "Red" Loctite on something under the assumption that it won't ever need to be taken apart inevitably leads to it needing to be taken apart. (See Murphy's Law)

      I find that during the rebuild process, its always good to check everything under good light with a lamp.

      A lot of frames are that nice black twill carbon fibre pattern, or black plastic frames, therefore it may be hard to spot any small cracks in bad lighting.
