      So, as you will see, some of our local heli-pilots were busy today covering the storms. These guys must have nerves of steel or balls of brass..... one way or another.

      I was about 10 miles (16km) northeast of where the tornado touched down, but there was plenty of wind, rain, and hail where I was. The television stations routinely interrupt programming to cover severe weather here, and I watch as avidly as some watch sporting events.
