News Could It Be A New Align Heli?

    Images have been seen of a reported new Align helicopter from RevolutionRC website. Looking at the size one would estimate it to be a 700 class helicopter. Note the fatter main gear and the 850mx motor. Its good news for heli enthusiasts that Align is still in the mix...

    Interesting to note the large main gear and the tail servo brace. And even more interesting is the two part frame which can be seen below.

    The head design looks like classic align...

      So true @Beaver! Now we can have new range of clones as well. lol... it actually happens unfortunately. Would be great if the clone makers could actually make something different. I remember one such attempt and it was a good heli. The black angel....

      I like the motor mount.. out of the frame, so it will fit any size.. also the mount looks like it runs up the frame and screws into the bearing blocks... if it does it top and bottom block it will make it super stiff.. not to mention it will help pull a lot of heat out of that motor...

      KDE did thrusted bearing blocks for the 550e with a CF cross that connected to both blocks.. really stiffened the frame... should be an interesting design...

      Very good observation re the motor mount. In an egg beater type design (pinion direct to main gear) extra stiff is good! as well as the heatsink...The head and swash still looks like traditional align from here...
