      Most of these Marine engines are easier to remove and install in comparison to a road vehicle. Fortunately, there were no broken bolts with this job, so no drilling or tapping was needed. :D

      They are for freezing prodomenantly. Never seen a welsh plug pop from overheating pressure only corrode & leak. Many other things will let go before heat & steam affects a plug.
      It must get bloody cold out there?

      It can get well below 0° Celsius here at times. Most of the problem is people forgetting or not knowing to drain the water out of the block and exhaust manifolds before "first freeze" of winter.

      It came in with a broken connecting rod and a bent valve..... problem solved. :D
