It's all done, for now!!

Fitted the Tenax canopy mounts and also weighed the Heli with a 6s 4500 40c lipo RTF

Very fracking nice mate! - I think the Diabolo is the absolute bomb - a true dream machine. IMHO the best boutique 6s 550 in Australia. Waiting for a flying thread....

Couldn't agree more! the look and flight characteristics are second to none. Its strong, its light, well built and looks very cool. Your a lucky man - PS @simon, i like the orange boom! Matches perfectly!

 

Cheers guys.... I must admit I am starting to like the Orange more and more.....

 

I had an orange boom on my protos 450 and had the tail rate at around 740. It was one of the factors that helped me piro flip at a pretty fast rate. Very visible at any position. I also used to color code.... ie landing gear green - so i could easily tell weather the heli was upright or upside down.

 

@smakmeharder after today I think the Orange is going to stay!!! I'm finding it good with the orientations, it has surprised me....

 

Thought I would try out the Slow motion camera on my iphone, and what better way of doing it......

 

Your slow motion looks like it was taken out of a documentary on "How RC Helicopters Fly"... I can just imagine some Attenborough type voice overlay on this.
