Hmmmmm. I wonder what it could be! I like the over/under pitch control fork- cant see the pitch control leaver from this position so i am not sure where the pushrod is. Why is the pully on what appears to be the back of the helicopter?

 

If you look at the belt. The heli is nose right.
Tensioner is belt eatery to the boom.

 

AHHH i was looking from the wrong angle... now i see! I like the idea of the pully next to the tail gear because in theory you can run the belt looser for less friction overall.

Dear OXY 2 pilots:

I would like to explain why we made the straight main gear for oxy 2.


The most important thing is to explain that are related to oxy 2 190 Sport.

Main gears are not slant and are not CNC.

They are injected mold to reduce cost. This is why they are a straight instead of slant.


Now

The Sport main gear can also use on any FE with the straight cut pinions.


Because any FE as upgraded kit, it has the upgrades CNC slant main gear as Std.

If people are looking for a low-cost solution to fly any OXY 2 FE. They can use the injected one on the FE they just need change the pinion to a straight cut.


Also about pinion we now made things easier.

We decided to make bag set of pinions with the common similar sizes.

Now we have slant and straight in both the 2 and 2.5 mm.

Now available.


The pinion with 2 mm shaft are released for higher kv motor.

Than we made the pinion options with 1 tooth difference.


The ones with 2.5 mm motor shaft are related to lower kv motor and we had no need to have all different number tooth.

We tested and there is no need have them all.

That why we offer some tooth for 2.5 mm shaft but not all.

We offer the 2.5 mm shaft in 2 tooth difference that is ok.

Ah! Nice photo. That arrangement definitely increases the tooth contact around the tail pulley..... reminds me of my Mini Protos with the larger diameter tail shaft pulley.
