    Guys

Why isnt the Heligods store SSL. I noticed even when putting my details in it is not secure.... this is basic web security to protect an individuals identify.

I bailed on my order when I saw even the account details is not secure, so did my brother @simon.

      FFS we need SSL
No one likes identity theft. If you can't run up a SSL, can users email for a tee-shirt, then send them a paypal request, all delivery info is in PayPal? Better still, chuck some in the boot of your car and take 'em to the fly in

The paypal transaction IS ssl. You dont have to create an account to order . Once you place an order you are taken to the paypal transaction which IS an SSL site. Granted we would love to run everything SSL however many sites run using this method - practically all of the small rc shop vendors.

I understand the paypal transaction is SSL and secure.
      My issue is this:
I clicked the link to access the heligod store, I had to register, punched in my e-mail address and a password, logged into the store went to punch in my billing and delivery details not SSL.
If you dont have to fill in those details you should be explicit in the process to order, why have them there if they are not required.

xxxx is SSL, login and check for yourself.

Your quote from above "however many sites run using this method (xxxxxxxxx) and practically all of the shop vendors." - pretty big statement and incorrect.

I would not buy from a shop that did'nt offer SSL , but thats my choice and everyone to there own.

well, back to original question - you going to take some to the fly in?, we can do business the old fashioned way, I give you money, you give me the tee-shirt

Your point on anonymity re your billing address is taken (but statement above is supposed to be rc vendors). We will take down the shop and implement the SSL today. Thankyou for the input.

Hi @simon, There have been quite a few orders, but the best bet will be to use our New SSL Heligods shop and just select local pickup, that way we can keep our stocks under control and it secures a shirt as well. Thanks...
