Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm totally new to the hobby and forums.. So i hope this is the right spot to ask ?

I have watched a few people fly with white blades, but assume black ones are easier to see, correct ? i just bought a Trex 450 second hand with Black blades, But still trying to get a hover going in the Sim before i try and hover it..

Black blades are typically more difficult to see than white. You might try putting some of the reflective tracking tape on them. that way they will show up better..

Always.... always have some white or color on the blade tips. Makes such a difference to see the geometry of the rotating disk.

I agree..... white or light color is easier to see, but I have a tendency to watch my rotor disk while flying to keep orientation.

Black blades are hard to see and also green blades tend to disappear in the sky for some reason. White with a little bling works well for me.

Yes White works well on dark blades as does bright orange. I used to paint stripes on my blades at equal distances. Very effective as it shows up nice concentric circles while you fly. When you are learning stuff blade visibility is very very important..
