Hello Justin from south of Australia here. Been here since October last year listening in just haven't got around to posting. Newbie to the hobby still learning to hover my clone 450 se v2. Confident tail in and side on both ways even in gusty winds up to 30kmh. Just this week got rid of the flybar care of a tarot dfc head and zyx gyro. Omg what a difference technology makes! So glad started with the flybar though coz now I really appreciate FBL

I think a lot of learned by ourselves, talking and asking advice can save a lot of heartache and bent booms

Hey @ernie81 we have many people who are remote flyers. Some have become quite accomplished. There is @Beaver who is learning without any club or help (he has gone the same clone route as yourself) and there is also @iggy who progressed to a very advanced level after only 1 year! So as @simon states, a little advice in this hobby can save you many hours of frustration. We are here to help...

Thank you for the warm welcome @smakmeharder. No I have no problems with flying a clone I've put many hours into learning setup and what not it is now hovering and reacting exactly as I like. Now just to get my thumbs reactions down pat. Loving the vids on here they are helping to no end thanks @heligod

      Hello @ernie81
Yes, I have a clone CX450SE-V3, but it was already flybarless when I bought the kit a few months ago. It's my first build... and always a work in progress thanks to the occasional mishap.

Don't really have to wait for a mishap to keep progressing do we? I find that's half the fun

Feeling like such a noob today. Only 6 flights in after converting the old girl to flybarless felt like it needed trim adjustment. like I had done a few times with the flybar setup landed it and checked trim adjustment on tx while blades still spinning 3k. They should have been zero but were way out. Didn't even stop to think just started zeroing aileron from -16....

Happy enough with the zyx considering it's my first. Having trouble connecting to laptop but have heard that with other users so I will persist

I had a similar issue with the K-Bar USB link. I had to put the driver files in a different folder for Win10 to recognize them.
