Thanks for the brownout at my motor leads @Crash Heligod, but you didn't get anything out of it but a minor tip-over from landing in moderate grass..... no damage. :p
I'll be going over those in-line connectors for sure.

Thank you for the joy ride @3dmick. While you were doing "the wall" i thought i would take control of your chopper and finish the trick off properly. While your tricks often make the crowds go "wow", I think my grand finale drew a more memorable response.

So everyone can rejoice in the experience, let me recap. @3dmick was tearing up the skys with some of the fastest speed runs i have ever seen his goblin do. And then he decided to do his famous "wall" trick (You know, the trick which he will not tell smakmeharder the stick movements). It was at this point - when his helicopter was pointing skyward - it was too much, i had to take control.

I preceded to do 3 consecutive loops under full power - each loop faster than the next. The expression on @3dmicks face was priceless. His stick movements were having no effect on the helicopter!

Then for my grand finale i pushed the heli headfirst into planet earth! The earthquake could be felt in germany!

I think we have created a new trick @3dmick. We shall dub this trick "the ghost rider!" Muah ha ha ha....

Normally if the blades are smoked, the mainshaft and feathering shafts will need replacing..Good luck

Yes on the mainshaft, but have spares and easy to change. Grips and feathering spindle are fine. ;)

That would be correct. The thing is basically a T-rex Sport/SE. Mainshaft change takes all of 5 or 10 minutes to change including inspection of related components. I could probably nail it in two minutes if I was in a hurry. There is nothing complicated about it. The belt is a bit tedious, and I don't look forward to the day I have to change the ailieron servos in the upper frame, but the metal gear servos should last awhile.
There will be more crashes in the future..... that much is inevitable..... as is damage control. :D

Well that's the second time we have used our new field and the second victim claimed by @Crash Heligod . It was Andy's turn this time @Andrew R last weekend. This is what happens when you loose orientation....
