    Dear Forum Members

    It is with great sadness I present this News.

    Jason Rowe - one of our foundation members contributors and very very good friend sadly passesed away. He was known on the forum as @5Fidy.

    I Know I speak for many people and the RC Helicopter community in general when I say Jason you will be very much missed.

    As a person I have never meet a funnier bloke, he could make a funny joke out of anything and he was also one of the first people we conferred with before making this forum and discussed all the Gods and their functions. He lived and breathed rc-helicopters and his fleet of Goblins was second to none.

    Many of you will have come to know Jason as an all round great person who never harmed anyone - he was so passionate about his helicopters. He even learn t to Piroflip just recently - a massive feat for any RC helicopter pilot.

    Jason Rowe - you will be sadly missed by all who knew you. RIP mate..


    UPDATE:

    We have just been informed by Jason family and asked to pass on that Jason Funeral will be
    on Friday the 4th July @ 12 pm at Bunurong Memorial Park
    790 Dandenong-Frankston Road
    Bangholme VIC 3175

    An invitation is open to any one that wishes to attend.

      I flew with Jason only a few times, met him through this site, he was a person that was great to be around, I looked forward to flying and hanging out. Condolences to all his friends, he would have had heaps...

      I know @simon its hard. In typical Jason style, his last words on the forum were "get a life man - jesus" . Even before he leaves us he still does it in typical Jason style. We are Just dumbfounded as well. It was way to early for Jason to leave us. Many people are going to be hurting for along time now...

      All the Team at QIKAZZ are very sad and shocked to hear of this news. Tears were shed when the girls were told. RIP Jase. You will be missed.

      I was flying and chatting with Jason just last week (had a great passenger FPV ride on his quad), he will be truly missed.

      You know that someone is genuine when you only meet them a handful of times yet shed tears.

      He was an awesome bloke who always made me feel welcome around AFF and MRCHC.

      RIP mate, The night flying at AFF after the winter solstice was one of my funnest experiences. Largely because of you!

      Should we organise a meet in his memory? Even if there is no flying, Just something to give to his memory?

      Still cannot believe it.....

      True friendship is like sound health; the value of it is seldom known until it is lost, The difficulty is not so great to die for a friend, as to find a friend worth dying for......

      I'm sure that we all felt Jason's friendship, He made us laugh, and sometimes cry, because we laughed so bloody hard. Always one to jump in with advice and help us out
      with our hobby, Quick to jump in the car and drive 30 mins to help, as he did for me, several times.

      Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort us all for tomorrow, You where a great mate and always bought a smile to our faces, No
      one more did i enjoy being around at the club, you always cheered me up with your banter and humor, I'll miss you buddy.

      We will all miss you Jason.
