If i stayed overnight @3dmick i would be burned at the stake..... and you know it! lol. Nah unfortunately i had things i had to do back here. Turns out I could have stayed. But anyway i still enjoyed it heaps.... like mega heaps. It was so much fun.

 

Good seeing u up there to @smakmeharder . It was a great weekend and experience.

 

What an awesome event!!! Although I didn't fly much I still had a great time.... Watching so many highly skilled 3D pilots smacking their Helis arounds was so entertaining and very inspiring!!

I still have Saturday photos to go through and upload and there is a lot more of them!!!

You know I think these events breathe life into the heli community. Theres stuff with RC helicopter that is unique to the hobby - the ability to fly incredible man-overs, the night flying, the never ending complexity of tricks. You know after the weekend i just starte flying more knife edge stuff and realised my upright figure 8s were shiz! IE could not hold a knife edge in a forward figure 8 in all orientations (strangely enough my inverted figure 8s were way better than upright!).

I thought I heard @Crash Heligod in the background making comments about @Min coming in like a wrecking-ball before the end of the flight. That's a "Crash Curse" if I ever heard one!

Wow some great photos once again! So clear considering the helis are moving.

 

Got plenty more coming.... I'll try and spread them out over the week!!

I'm sure I miss more great shots that what I do get...... it's so hard snapping that shutter at the right moment, some of these pilots are just to damn quick!

 

What a great weekend - as mentioned above I think it reinvigorates the hobby, well at least it has for me. Already been on the SIM tonight and looking forward to my next change to get to the field (damn road works).
