Had a great time

 

Such a great time.... Im still hungover from all the fun! Boy it was fun to have kyle over - he was just like one of the boys, he stayed with us all the time. Hats off to everyone who showed up, it made the day. We have many young talented pilots...Its so good to see.

Yes Richard, even though i was involved in running the event i still had the best time for along time. Kyle Stacy was alot of fun (we were warning him about the dangers of Australia, @crashheligod got to meet kyle, had some great food) and we were SOOOO lucky with the weather. Thank You @Storm Heligod . Once again you protected us from the elements! There was terrible weather leading up to the event - the main day was as if the heligods shone upon us. The very last day was a write off but everyone was pretty tired from the two days prior.

There was lots of friendly unspoken competition between the top pilots who fly compediatevely in a positive way - they push each other. There were lots of give aways... @ZEN RC were fantastaic in organising things supplying kits (FOUR KITS IN TOTAL were given away) . We also had the roast - which really was very very tasty.

Fantastic day for Melbourne Radio Controlled Helicopter Club - ZEN RC - The HELIGODS and of course @Crash Heligod who came away with around 7 heli carcasses.....

I will post some photos soon... it was reall good fun.

 

What an absolute blast this fun fly was, well worth the long trip down. Credit to the organisers and to ZenRC for the generosity of the prizes. We witnessed some amazing flying and also some selfless giving. From the young guns who competed in the mini comps determined to win a 380 for Rhys after him crashing the TRex. Josh gave him a set of blades and Sean from Zen RC gave him a Tareq motor to get the 380 started. Rhys has not stopped talking about Kyle and his flying, think he really enjoyed the day with Kyle, certainly got in some flying. Wicked photos Ozzy as usual, and Daz, nice aerials! Awesome perspective.

Credit has to be given to Sean at Zen and the MRCHC gang for getting it together. It takes a hell of a lot of hard work and I as well I'm sure as many others appreciate their efforts.

Awesome stuff also to the guys the travelled to attend the event, it was great to meet some of you.

I'm looking forward to the next one too.
