A short term fix is inplace. The informer posts will be published tomorrow..and pushed further down the que. What does this mean? It means as soon as tareq (or other pilots) publish their posts on you tube, we will have them available here - this will also include news and various other resources and publications.

 

Been a long day but many site updates are done. Please be patient, over the next week our @The Informer is going to be extremely busy and will now do his best to keep you up to date on news as it is released from vendors. This is exciting for us as now you will be able to reference heligods as a live news portal as well having releases from vendors streamed in real time. There are also some more changes coming as well..... subtle small changes you will discover as you use the site more. On the downside (if you look in industry news you will see hundreds of new entries) when we switch the the monitor back on for industry news it will push current news articles down off the recent threads list. No biggy, it will normalize after a few days.

 

We are flushing our users every 5 minutes because its affecting our cache. Also note that if someone is online you will see a small green light above their avitar..... more changes to come. So far we have been able to work and keep the site live - ie no downtime.

 

The user flush will be sorted out within 2 hours.. we just need to update a few things first .. only a small issue.. takes takes a bit of time to update a few things..

THIS IS FIXED

 

We understand that the user "THE INFORMER" seems to be spamming the forum, We just have to wait until the historical posts have pulled in, Then things will calm down and only the latest new posts will be pulled in, We are doing a LOT of site changes that will keep you all very happy, With new content and functionality. It's worth the wait, I promise... We could have pulled the site offline for a few days, but figured that would have been more of an inconvenience than updating it live.

Please be patient, Things will settle down over the next 24 hours, We have to let things fill up and update in this manner. If there is a post on the recent post list that has dropped off, please find the post and type something in it to bring it back to the top of the list.. ie: BUMP, Then it will push the informers posts back down the list. It will not be like this for more than approx 24 hours .. and may appear again periodically.

I have had a strong talk to "the informer". He has promised to pull his head in and not be so vigorous in trying to provide us with old information we have missed. In future we should have most of the latest RC company news within the hour.
