So......I`m at the field today with a fellow helicopter pilot, waiting for the rain to stop. As we were waiting in the pilot house, he asked me to charge a few packs for him, and go over his Goblin 570...to make sure he had it set up right. Which he did.

The rain finally stopped after about an hour, and we ventured over to the flight line. He did the maiden flight on his 570, and then I started getting mine ready to fly. I put the packs in, turned everything on, and plugged in the ESC. Here is where my woes kick in. Instead of getting the two beeps to signal the ESC had armed, I get the...
Hi guys,

With the new 3 bladed helicopters coming on to the market is the only design difference at the moment is head speed. Are we heading into an era where 3 bladed helicopters will become the norm? If so will the design of the helicopter change to take advantage of the extra blade?

For example - different gearing.... Different blade circumference? Will the tail become more critical to hold the extra momentum? Will the tail become shorter to allow for better rolling because blade area is not so critical now? Is a 4 bladed helicopter better again?

Thoughts anyone?
Here is a video from of a KST factory pilot testing the new KST hv brushless x20 servo series on his Align T-rex 700 nitro.
He is running the X20-2808 on cyclic and X20-1035 for the tail.
He is running a Thunder Tiger Redline 100 with stock muffler , mikado Vbar FBR system and Align 3G blades.
