LOL..... its a XNOVA motor for my mini - protos. Small but powerful. I cant wait to install this baby and i would have had it running but i dont have the right pinion (untill monday - tuesday). The Mini Protos is all about power to weight ratio, balance and maximum blade circumference for the length of the heli. There is actually a 1 - 2mm clash point if you put on 360s and run 72mm tails but the weight of the helicopter is so light the blades don't flex enough during hard maneuvers to create issues (yet!). Minimum weight (this is so important at this size) + massive power and big blades all equal great smack time. Even with the stock 6s motor it is a monster. This is going to up the ante by about 15% I rekon...So long as everything else remains constant.

Yes it is an old pinball counter that would count the amount of button presses. I made a doorbell application connected to my server that would play themes of mp3 music depending on what day of the week it was. IE if it was a sunday i would use all satanic versus and metal music to greet the churchy door knockers. Wednessday was animal day... all sorts of animal sounds... I had it connected to a a IR sensor so it would also record a movie file as someone walked up the drive way. At night time after 10.00 pm it would turn into sentry mode and if someone walked up the driveway it would record video and play a warning sound - i think i used ed29 from robo-cop! "Stop put down your weapon. You have 10 seconds to comply"... lol. It was fun and was blasting about 20W through stereo speakers (very loud if i wanted). I had to decommission it as the server became to expensive to run 24 * 7. I still have the program kicking around.

      Couple of weeks ago bro

That thing is off its head mate so much power out of the lil XTS

994watts is all I could screw out of it and it only bogged to 2989rpm from 3000.

I can live with a 11rpm bog any day of the week

NICE @feral, yes i am slow off the mark!. I have been flying my MiniP today without the xnova and dreaming of whats to come. At the moment i do 3 minutes exactly and end up with 22 to 27% left in the pack. I cant wait to see what the xnova does. I know when I flew @The Dude s rig I noticed that the motor maintains RPM through hard loading over a long time period. And that was using my clapped out 6s 1300mah nanotec packs. Hopefully my 13 tooth pinion will arrive on monday.

They are a "different" feeling helicopter. I flew one and it almost felt like a mini tdr... I have not had many consequitive flights on it however.
