Well I can do a few tricks, but one trick is alluding me and its driving me nuts. I dont know weather its my limited pilot ability or equipment or both.. I want to know how to overspeed the head - not by a bit, but alot. @3dmick says "well you just move the sticks like this" and then walks away smiling and @Manyc says its like an auto rotation in the direction which you are flying BUT, i try and sure i get a little bit of head speed but nothing like Ducan Bosion or @3dmick. So how do i do it. If i want to do a 1/2 forward flip overspeed, I know its in the timing and position of the elevator and collective but i have not figured it out yet. Its driving me a bit loopy actually because looking at it I would consider it simple. So @3dmick, did you do an overspeed with the futaba? I am wondering if its something to do with pitch boost during the transition? Any help would be appreciated...

First you have to have a heli with relatily high disk loading, a 3kg logo 600 running 623mms just wont do it. Then you have to fly really fast if any direction and rotate the disk so that is is 90 degrees to the airflow and apply a generous amount of negative, too much negative wont work as it will just load the rotors and too little pitch it will just kinda wall.

Thats a great explanation... I figured it also had a lot to do with going directly against upwind to help spool the head up...

So I cant do this with the Chase 360?!?! :p

      Sic video, btw!

Stick some 325s on there or a heavy pack and it should overspeed just fine.

Overspeed was very hard when my E7 when it only weighed 4.5KG RTF but with heavy everything making it 5.3KG RTF it overspeeds really well.

@Min you are a genius... I like my Helis as light as possible with the biggest disk as possible to. Might explain why i am struggling to get the effect i want. I have not tried on my 700 which swings 713.. Thanks @Min...

Try some 696's on it. If the heli is over 5KG it should overspeed nicely.

How would one know if they are learning to fly, but picking up a lot of bad habits?
