      woops - stop now!!!

One major problem I have with my 500 is the lack of pitch travel..
This is due to the short length limit of the elevator servo arm (and thus all should be max this length).

This is due to it hitting the cnc base plate under the anti-rotation bracket..

If i was to pull mine apart (got assembled already) - i would be using a dremel or something to cut out some material so the elevator arm can be lengthened a few mm and thus gain a few extra needed degrees of pitch...

The ball links are large so the groove needs to allow for ball-link space too..

      Anyway - my 5c..

maybe test fit the elevator servo breifly and servo arm and see what I mean..

PS: Here is a pic of what I mean - elevator arm just clears the cnc metal but i don't really have enough pitch that i would like.. but can't have a longer arm :(

Obviosuly for now you'll probably complete the build how it is - but be aware of this later if you don't get your desired pitch throw..

Yeah those self tapping screws into the landing gear supports are a real pain in the a$$.
Look on the bright side though, they are chap to replace and you can always upgrade to the aluminum landing gear if it annoys you too much ;)
