    Hello fellows, and ladies!

I thought it might be fun to start a thread for a place to showcase your new move!

In this hobby it seems we are always trying to learn a new maneuver or create a fancy new trick.

Sometimes it's just as simple as learning to fly a backward circuit... Other times people are learning to do the Mirk Doogle dismount auto rotation piro revers whoopie-doo!

At the moment I am trying to nail down skids in four point tic tocs, right rudder piro flips, and increasing my rotation rate on left rudder piro flips, to try and add spins, like double and triple piros per flip!

So what's your new challenge, or move?

    Willy

these seem to be taking me a long time...

Owww... been plaguing me for a little while this move. Performing 180 deg tick tocks left tail no problem. But right tail - very messy. Also performing the piro ticktock skids in left tail ok but right tail not locked in yet. So i want to be able to mix them up with speed. Also 4point tick tocks clockwise at 6 - 9 position. Anti clockwise no problem but clockwise... daaaym - 6 to 9 kills me! . I want to change direction from any point - ie go clockwise then anti clockwise from any position and do the same with piro tick tocks from any direction.

Yeah being able to stop them and switch is a good skill, gets lot of ohhs and ahhs from the peanut gallery!

Left tail tic tocs are not as clean as my right tail tic tocs. Right hand piro flips.. forget it. I'm working on reverse tail hurricanes... I think thats what they're called... Where the heli is on its side going backwards hella fast... I can do them with a bit of degree inverted, but cant seem to get them down completely on its side like I see some guys do. Whats the trick to these?

Also right spin piro tic tocs are hard as hell... But, even my left hand piro tocs are not as clean as i'd like them to be. I'd like to get the consistency of being able to do them in place for an entire lipo cycle lol -- Mine start to wander a little bit after like 5 or 6 revolutions

I'm trying to perfect transitioning tail down inverted hurricanes in both directions (figure 8's).. its coming along... Gotta have some good collective control during that transition to make it look fluid

yeah, just wagging the tail. its really hard to do that and manage the collective perfectly at the same time

So how are you progressing with the tricks william. You will find fast piroflips a blast! you become totally locked into the manovuer, its like a time warp. But be careful because i find that fast piroflips put incredible strain on helicopters and i have boomstriked a few choppers into carbon rainbows as a result - impressing the peanut gallery even more!

Thats awesome man. That's how Tareq liked to destroy his Goblins when they came out and had those prevelant boom strike issues. His goal was to break the chopper mid air LoL

I think slow piroflips are waaaay harder though

      Is this a real move?

Mirk Doogle dismount auto rotation piro revers whoopie-doo

If so, where can I find a video! I know Matt Botos is pretty wicked at dismount over speed autos while throwing in a lazy tic tock/slow piro in before he lands!

Well it is, at least partly a real move. I took a move name, and added a little BS to it:rolleyes:

Well, they are going pretty well! I am drilling the moves on the sim every day, I am comfortable doing three of the skids in tic tocs. On the other hand the right rudder piro flips are still slipping my grasp! I have sessions where I am nailing them, and then other times they just blow off in random directions. This inconsistency has stopped me from doing them IRL...yet. I have been working on piro rainbows IRL, love them, and mobus piro funnels, wow they look super cool, gets the Peanut gallery on their feet, shells flying everywhere! :D
