Hitec HV in a micro servo.

Fast and powerful, Hitec’s new digital HS-5070MH and analog HS-70MG with high performance specifications. These two servos are designed for smaller 3D planes, and also 450 sized 3D helicopters. Both servos include the durable metal gear set, cored motors, and top ball bearings.

The programmable HS-5070MH is rated at 52 oz.-in. torque, speed .12 at 7.4 volts, and the HS-70MG is not far behind at 42 oz.-in, and .14 at 6.0 volts. Looking forward to using these in my next 450.

    Features

    • Ball Bearings.
    • HV support, 2cell (5070).
    • High torque for a micro.
    • Metal Gears.
    • Programmable.

      Interesting but Mute!

I've never seen anyone use a flight pack in a 450? so why the need for HV servos in a 450 as the average 3A esc bec / sbec is enough for most 450's.. and if not, then a small 5A one is.. no-one wants the added weight of a flight pack in a 450.

The Hitec servos have always been great micro servos thou.. at least it's great to see them keep evolving.

Maybe the HV servos will be more in-place in a plank as that's where you would possibly run a flight pack.
