Hey guys, I'm looking for some reasonably priced good quality 6S 5000 mAh packs for my Synergy E5.
I recently purchased some second hand Pulse 6S 5K packs from Dale and they fly great. I'm a gentle sport flyer tentatively moving towards 3d.
I was thinking of purchasing some more Pulse packs, but given my mild flying style I can probably get away with some cheaper brands.
Wondering what people's experience or recommendations are....

Soon to utilize smart phone application.
New Zealand company Soko has a wonderful tool on the market for setting up the pitch on your helicopter. This gyro based device gives you a very accurate pitch reading on an digital display to make sure you get the best setup out of your helicopter. It mounts in the blade grips, and this keeps you away from a level table.
This one gauge works from micros to full sizes 800 class. This...

Hi there!
last weekend we went to the 20 year aniversary festival of Kontronik. They didn´t only offer a lot of food and guided tours through the factory, but also a FunFly of their sponsor pilots on the field behind the building.
I didnt have time to film all of them, but when I was there watching some flights (and doing some myself) I eventually grabbed the iPad and did some videos. Here is my short video collection, hope you enjoy.
BTW: It was awful windy at that weekend and it seemed that CrashHeliGod was also there, working in cooperation with the wind ...

I'm going flybarless DFC That is.
My question is will a DFC main shaft fit well on a Align 500 ESP body? Or do I need a universal main shaft to make it work?
Thanks in advance.
Shawn

More power with the same footprint.
O.S. is on track designing engines to compete with today’s demands for POWER. O.S. has their newest line of engines 105HZ and HZR version engines. The R version has a regulator attached to the carburetor system to meter the incoming fuel. O.S. calls it DRS (Demand Regulator System).
Keeping up with the demands of electric power. The 105HZR produces 3.75HP on the DRS system, this is enough power to fly smack without the loss of head speed...

What are your opinions on the new Trex 550L Dominator (other than the Fugly canopy)?
I ordered it, but always seem to look for its flaws after I do so LoL
Seems like a great heli though
Tons redesigned... im dying to try out the Gpro FBL unit--heard great things about it and saw it put though its paces by Alan Szabo Jr. Looks darn good....but, then again he can fly a toilet paper roll on a curling iron and make it look good so IDK ha
